Just four months after a massacre took place in 1970, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young released the song “Ohio.” Students protesting at Kent State University witnessed their own being slaughtered, showcasing Vietnam and the irreconcilable decade plus for the country. One of the outcomes of Vietnam, the Ohio National Guard opened fire killing four innocents. Although, the precursor was Tet, which transpired in 1968. It fully awakened most to what the government was intentionally doing to WE THE PEOPLE, while the world witnessed a nation hell-bent on supposedly spreading democracy, but in actuality, using aggression for power and world dominance. And again, in a “repeat,” Americans are finding themselves under attack by the very government sworn to protect and defend them via the Constitution. Additionally, there are nations working diligently to dethrone the country as a superpower. And who knows what manner of individuals have come through the southern border and are just awaiting orders to strike. So, yes, go ahead, snicker at the words. But understand, the nation’s debt as well, is a noose hanging around every citizen’s neck. And those who in truth pay nothing in taxes will have a rude awakening when they must start paying taxes to fund the illegal alien surge that has been ongoing. Yes, those in government who supposedly represent us, the people, want it to continue unabated. Now, throw in the funding of Ukraine and every other sundry wish Congress and the Executive want, one can’t but see the upcoming undoing. And apathetically, those who believe life as it is will continue after such an event, I suggest, wake up now.
So, to start, go back a couple years to when the thirteen soldiers were killed at the evacuation of Afghanistan at the Kabul airport, and nothing happened. There were no repercussions. Thirteen souls were obliterated, and no upper echelon “leaders” were held accountable. Now, this past weekend three more soldiers were killed in a drone attack in Jordan. Add in the recent loss of two Navy Seals, then ask yourself: In all the wars that have ended in leadership disgrace, when will enough lives lost be enough. But the harder question: For what purpose did each of these individuals die? Do not throw defending our freedom or democracy. It’s a lie. And along with the three recent killed, thirty plus additional were injured, some (maybe most) with TBI (traumatic brain injury). I know, the going word: Don’t! But guess what: They did! And nothing will happen because the nation cannot afford a protracted war. The world is on fire, America is in shambles and falling apart. Yet all we are doing is arguing over which party is the sole savior of the country, DEI, transgenderism, racism and being “woke,” whatever the hell that is. Common sense is non-existent as non-sensical is the only common today. Yet, in all the finger pointing, both parties are destroying the nation. Plus, the Executive wants to be remembered as a wartime president by having our troops killed nonchalantly. Damn it people, wake the hell up!
The astounding part to all of this: When I started writing Ricology, quite a few individuals told me I was wasting my time: Most citizens know and understand the Constitution (they said). They’ve read and been taught the Federalist (papers) (they said). Really! I believe it’s more like ninety percent or better of the population don’t know a damned thing about the Constitution. They have no idea of the nation’s governing intent. Or they just don’t care. They’d rather fling memes and live in a world of allusiveness, while the aforementioned problems continue to transpire, all while pointing their finger at the other side. I get it, no one wants to read anymore. The desire is to be led. And yes, we are being led right to the proverbial cliff. So, in a twist of the story about Balaam (Old Testament: Numbers 22-24) beating his mule, this post will conclude my pontificating about illegal immigration, national debt, and the undermining of the country by those in power (maybe). You know, similar to when Nero burned Rome, while we witness our government burning the country to ashes. It’s what WE THE PEOPLE want, right.
Well, moving on. In my daily life, I work in the PEMB (pre-engineered metal building) world. I support technical as well as manufacturing services. Doing so, I look at everything from a non-engineer engineering perspective. If one has a problem with a building they’ve purchased and is working to erect it and have either a company detail dilemma or they screwed up in the order process, I’m called to right the wrong, fix the unfixable, design a solution while solving the unsolvable. At times, I’m even brought in from the very start to set the course correctly. On the manufacturing side, I look at efficiency, equipment layouts, material flows, individuals, and other such components to produce a product efficiently and with better than average quality. And, trust me, after years of duncehood, what I’ve learned from my non-engineer engineering perspective, I can smell bamboozle from a mile away.
Which brings up Newton’s first law of motion: An object at rest remains at rest, or if in motion, remains in motion at a constant velocity unless acted on by a net external force. Now, me being plagued with the non-engineer engineering perspective, in Issac’s theory, when one considers inclines, declines, friction, or the weight of the object, what happens if a growing force continues pushing or stops pushing said object. Example: If an object is put in motion in an uphill trajectory, unless one continues to apply an equalizing force against the object, it will with gravity eventually roll right back over them. Or, in the uphill climb, if the pushing force is constantly growing, the object itself will override the effects of gravity, and the object in motion can potentially become an out-of-control proposition if enough force is applied. And I thought crap only rolled downhill. Two forces working against each other. Only, the object in motion is the pawn in the effects of power.
And Newton’s law can be applied to pretty much anything being put in motion. Yes, and theoretically, even an inanimate object such as legislation. Except, legislation can control an animate object, thus Newton’s law becomes more relevant to the motions of government. Why? People’s lives are at stake in the process of two sides pulling against the other to exert their force to achieve an endgame. But what if their intentions are the same, only the plan of execution appears to be the antithesis of the other. A vicious cycle of good versus evil. Although, in truth, what is good, and what is evil? To which I constantly pontificate: No one will know unless they understand the nation’s framing foundation.
Which brings forward another example: This past Christmas, Iowa allowed the “Satanic Temple Iowa” to place a holiday display of Satan against the backdrop of a Christian nativity scene in the State capitol rotunda. One group’s view of their god against another group’s belief in their God. And, in the battle over religious righteousness, even Jesus believed in Satan. Which by default, should make any satanist believe in Jesus. A morally perplexing conundrum for those working to eliminate Christian faith from every facet of American life, just not their own belief in their faith. Yet, biblically, everyone knows how the good/evil war will end. Satan will be destroyed. A moral compass of truth that cannot be changed or rescripted no matter who pushes an axiom against Christian truth. And each of us will discover THE truth at death.
What’s weird though, even Thomas Jefferson and the nation’s Framers believed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator … (Declaration of Independence). Creator defined: The being or person that creates. Remember thy creator in the days of thy youth (Ecclesiastes 12). 2: The thing that creates, produces or causes (Webster’s 1828). Which brings us to the word create. Defined: To produce; to bring into being from nothing; to cause to exist. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1) (Webster’s 1828).
Thus, on the belief of the Framers, God allowed Satan, not Satan God, including the one path the nation was to follow. But … in today’s landscape, church and state are not to mix. Except, how does one keep their belief (if Christian) out of the confines of government when the Framers laid it square in the middle. Even the first third of the 1st Amendment has been perverted: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; …. That’s right, the intent of the amendment was government would not institute a religion. Going back to America being British America and the rule by one; a king. Nothing more.
So, back to Newton’s law of motion and another inanimate object. Think of everything taking place today and unfunded liabilities. Where a growing debt will balloon out of control (already underway) until the ability to control it becomes a motion of sorts that will be a crushing weight to everyone forever. Even those not yet born will bear the weight of what they had no part in creating. The opposite force of an opposing force trying to keep the ball in motion. The country, being thirty-four trillion in debt and growing by one trillion every three months is an unfunded liability even if another penny is not spent. Yet, our own border war cannot be discussed unless another 106 billion is approved where sixty billion will be given to Ukraine and the only change here will be the continued flow of illegals into the country. Imagine, the new proposed legislation will allow 5,000 per day before executive parole kicks in, allowing untold more. This is even after three years of non-control allowing approximately ten million in, which questions when Newton’s law will influence a multiple of fronts. The debt alone will crush the nation. But if BRICS succeeds, it will destroy the country. Does anyone care? Better: how many illegals are actually here. I’ll start: Fifty million?
For comparison, Ellis Island opened in 1892 and closed in 1954 as an immigration station: sixty-two years. In its lifetime, it processed about 12-15 million through the gates. Included was a process and beginning in 1909 each immigrant had to possess at least twenty dollars, about $700.00 in today’s value. And the caveat: The government did not provide the means for support once those cleared were in the country. So, a couple points to consider. Ironically, they’re both biblical. First, a Proverb: Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? And if anyone believes we’re not playing with fire as a country, I suggest you’ve been bamboozled already. Then, as things play out daily, and those in power attempt to portray verbally they are public servants, look up the definition. Then, read Mark 10: 42-45: Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Yes, Jesus did not come to get rich, but to serve. Only, the Pharisees were in truth jealous of His ability to charismatically draw people in. He pointed out their hypocrisy. But doesn’t it all sound familiar. And living under Roman rule, they sought to make certain their power was not taken away. Conversely, WE THE PEOPLE have voluntarily surrendered our power. And for what, thirty pieces of silver. Yes, don’t be a Judas: A traitor!
To close, if you’re content with the way things are, then be just like a legislator, do nothing. Just pat your posterity on the back and tell them: Good luck, I’ll be okay, but you won’t be. And if you’re not content, I suggest, read and learn the Constitution. Study the Federalist (papers) and understand the Anti-Federalist (they were more right), but more so, read Ricology. Then get others to subscribe: It’s free! At this point, WE THE PEOPLE are the only ones who can save the country. The three branches do not give a damn about it. The recent ruling by the Supreme Court over Texas’ ability to control their own border an example. Then stay away from party politics, they’re killing the country. Now, being an election year, the methane pumpers are out in full force. In other words: If they can’t dazzle anyone with brilliance, they’ll baffle everyone with bullshit. And the only way to know if you’re not buying the lies is to know the truth. READ! And if anyone wants these words spoken, reach out, we can make a deal! And yes, that deal won’t cost anyone their country. It will save it!
Wow! This was a really good one. I can't believe that with all the problems the United States is facing, "We the People" are only concerned with abortion, transgenderism, homosexuality, racial problems, and ungodly behavior. They want the government to fix all these to each ones liking when the government should be following the dictates of the constitution. I do believe our country is headed for ruin and I feel for my grandchildren as well as everyone else's children. Ric, I follow your articles and appreciate the insight that you provide. Indeed, these are challenging times. Your articles have encouraged me to dust off knowledge of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Federalist paper, and more recently speeches of Lincoln. Truly, reviewing the words of the original authors and reflecting on the meaning of their time and ours, I am reminded how great of an experiment our government and country are.
