Just four months after a massacre took place in 1970, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young released the song “Ohio.” Students protesting at Kent State University witnessed their own being slaughtered, showcasing Vietnam and the irreconcilable decade plus for the country.
Wow! This was a really good one. I can't believe that with all the problems the United States is facing, "We the People" are only concerned with abortion, transgenderism, homosexuality, racial problems, and ungodly behavior. They want the government to fix all these to each ones liking when the government should be following the dictates of the constitution. I do believe our country is headed for ruin and I feel for my grandchildren as well as everyone else's children. I agree with Mr. Rubal that you should consider on-line podcasts and other media programs. You are a good writer with good ideas. Lindsay
Greetings! Yes, we are in trouble and I cannot believe the stupidity of the people. And to think, I failed to mention abortion and homosexuality. Now you have me depressed. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read the posts. And yes, Barbara has been pushing me for a while to speak this. Regards! Ric
Ric, I follow your articles and appreciate the insight that you provide. Indeed, these are challenging times. Your articles have encouraged me to dust off knowledge of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Federalist paper, and more recently speeches of Lincoln. Truly, reviewing the words of the original authors and reflecting on the meaning of their time and ours, I am reminded how great of an experiment our government and country are. I would encourage you to consider online podcasts and other media. Also to let your readers know that the most precious documents are free and online (including audiobooks). Thanks again. brubal
Greetings! Thank you so much for reading and the comment. Our country means the world to me. I wish my son’s future would have had the same opportunity I had at the same at his age. But alas, his generation and those yet to follow are in trouble. I do believe the two greatest presidents this nation has been graced with are Washington and Lincoln. It warms my heart to hear you will reread Lincoln. As well, I appreciate your input for me to spread the word. Regards!
