Looking at logistically we are doomed with no way out. People are not going to change. There is too much evil in this world. Everyone is so happy with all the goodies government is giving us. They can't see the wolf in the room. The complexity of lives does not help us see the right path to follow.
And that I agree with. The system has become a sad state of affairs. The Framers warned us about this. But were they better? In some ways yes, others no, as they looked through their prism of a kaleidoscope. Yet, times change, evolution happens, evil is in the heart of man, and even those who claim to be altruistic (think religion), violate the many tenets that should have us on a path of unattainable parity. Because, those indolent, unwilling to work, are hoping for the handouts, using their positions to obtain the table scraps those in government are willing to give while they pad their pockets. The blind leading the blind, waiting for the eventual pit to come.
