Ric, your writing is NOT a waste of time. By sticking it out, you are doing the right thing. It's like broadcasting the seed of truth. Just a little of it falls on fertile ground and bears fruit, but harvest makes it worthwhile.
Otto, that is the goal, and I appreciate your support. I do find things plateau, and I’m seeing it here. One of my struggles is growing the reach. My wife says I need to do it as a podcast, put the writing out on Twitter. She also says I write beyond the reach of others, which I look at her in wide-eyed wonder. These are the same words I’ve heard from you. I’ll keep plugging, and working to twist things. Regards!
I use what I write as a way of getting things off my chest. I'm more bothered by not saying anything than I am about someone actually reading anything I have to say. Never assume no one's reading your writings. They're less likely to have the time to have a conversation about it than taking time to read it.
DR, Greetings! It’s always to good to hear from you. Of late, I wish I could get up in front of a crowd and just talk. Like you, I have a lot I want to get out, and our time to make any changes is getting shorter every day. Too much deception taking place. I do wish “Ricology” was gaining better traction. Be well! I look forward to being able to shake your hand. You have great insight. Regards!
Driver Ray is right: Keep doing what you do, and never assume no one is reading your writings. We CAN change things, even if it's just one mind at a time.
Ric, I always enjoy reading your articles and was honored to read your book about your dad. I hope that in the future we will be blessed to read another book written by you.
Lynn, Thank You! I do appreciate the compliment. I was honored you read the book and your willingness to purchase a copy or two. When some feedback to the writings came back in the negative, it made me wonder if the book was just as bad as the pieces. Remembering your request in the midst warmed my heart. I want it published, but I start treatments around December 4th. Not looking forward to them, but hopeful God will allow a cure.
And as I mentioned to you in an earlier email, one of my goals is to intertwine the Bible more into these writings of mine. What you read today is an example. But again, thank you. Regards!
